Registrations and Re-registrations
All vehicle registrations done at the Town Office must have the following:
- Most recent vehicle registration
- Proof of current, valid insurance (paper card or digital)
- Current mileage
If you have an SR-22, you may pay your excise tax only at the Greene Town Office and then finish registration at a BMV office.
Maine's online Rapid Renewal (vehicles or trailers)
The registration for non-excised utility trailers 2000 lbs and under can be registered for one or two years.
The registration for any non-excised utility trailer over 2000 lbs RVW expires in February of the following year.
Camper trailers can only be registered for one year.
If you'd like to be reminded via email about your registration expiration date, please come to the Town Office and let us know. An email will be sent out approximately 30 days before your registration expires.
